What We Believe
The Bible
We believe that God has revealed Himself through the Scriptures—both Old and New Testaments—written by human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Bible, in its original manuscripts, is without error. It fully reveals God’s plan for salvation and serves as the highest authority for faith, life, and all human understanding. Because of this, we are called to believe all it teaches, obey all it commands, and trust all it promises.
God
We believe in one God who created everything and is holy, all-knowing, all-powerful, and perfect in every way. He exists eternally in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. In His love and sovereign will, God has chosen from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to renew all creation for His glory.
Humanity and Sin
We believe God made Adam and Eve in His image, but they disobeyed Him when tempted by Satan. As a result, all people are born into sin—both by nature and by choice—separated from God and under His judgment. Only through Jesus Christ can we be saved, brought back into relationship with God, and made new.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, united in one Person. He was miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a perfect life, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, rose physically from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
The Saving Work of Christ
We believe that Jesus died in our place, offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin. His death on the cross and His resurrection provide the only way for us to be forgiven and saved
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit exists to glorify Jesus. He convicts people of sin, brings them to new life, and unites them with Christ. The Spirit lives within believers, guiding, empowering, and equipping them to grow in faith and serve others.
The Church
We believe the true church includes all who have been made right with God through faith in Christ alone. United by the Holy Spirit, believers form one body with Jesus as the Head. Local churches express this unity by gathering believers for worship, teaching, and mission. Jesus gave the church two visible practices—baptism and the Lord’s Supper—to remind us of the gospel and strengthen our faith. These are not ways of earning salvation, but signs of the grace we’ve received
Christian Living
We believe God’s grace not only saves us but also transforms us. We are called to love God above all and love others as ourselves—living out our faith with compassion, justice, humility, and integrity. Through God’s Word, the Spirit’s power, and faithful prayer, we resist evil and pursue Christ’s mission to make disciples everywhere, showing and sharing the gospel in both word and action.
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus will return personally and bodily at a time known only to God. His return is our hope and calls us to live with anticipation—pursuing holiness, serving others, and advancing His mission with urgency and joy.
Salvation and Eternal Destiny
We believe God calls everyone to turn from sin and trust in Jesus Christ. One day, God will raise the dead and judge all people. Those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God in hell, while those who believe will enjoy eternal life with Him in a renewed heaven and earth—forever rejoicing in His grace and glory. Amen.

Complementarian View of Gender Roles
We believe the Holy Spirit gives a diverse range of spiritual gifts to every believer for the strengthening of the church, according to His will. While Scripture does not clearly teach that supernatural gifts—such as tongues, prophecy, healing, or miracles—have ceased, we believe these gifts primarily served to affirm the apostles and establish the early church. Therefore, we hold an “open but cautious” stance: we remain open to the continuation of these gifts today, yet we approach their practice with discernment and care.
God’s Sovereignty in Salvation
We believe that salvation is entirely the work of God, from beginning to end. Before creation, God chose and predestined His people to be adopted into His family (Romans 8:29–30; Ephesians 1:4–6). Saving faith is a gift of grace—not something earned or achieved. In our sinful state, no one seeks God or righteousness apart from His initiative (Romans 3; Ephesians 2:1–3). Every part of salvation—election, regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification—is rooted in God’s sovereign grace and purpose.
Believer’s Baptism by Immersion
We believe that baptism is for those who have personally placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Following the New Testament pattern, we practice baptism by immersion, symbolizing the believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:1–14). Baptism is a public declaration of faith, reserved for those who have made a conscious decision to follow Christ.
We affirm that both men and women are equally created in God’s image and share equal dignity and worth. At the same time, we believe God has designed distinct roles for men and women in the home and the church. Specifically, God calls men to lead in a manner that reflects Christ’s love, humility, and responsibility.
